Stan Didzbalis Partner
Stan Didzbalis has 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and in senior organizational
leadership positions.
He brings clients a wealth of knowledge and best-practices experience in client-agency marketing relationships. Stan
has worked in communications and marketing roles at IBM and Inco, as founder of an entrepreneurial public relations firm,
and as Canadian CEO in a large international agency.
His agency experience touched about 60 client organizations during a 10-year span, notably, CIBC, Celestica,
Industry Canada, Hewlett-Packard, Clairol, the Canadian Liver Foundation, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare and Oracle.
Stan was the founder and CEO of BenchMark Communications Inc. He grew the public relations and marketing agency from
a sole proprietorship into a full-service firm with 65 people and offices in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. After
selling his agency to Omnicom, he guided Porter Novelli's integration with BenchMark into what is now Porter Novelli
Canada. Along the way he co-founded a successful joint-venture agency within the DDB Group.
Stan was earlier employed for eight years by IBM Canada in various management roles in public affairs, product
marketing, media relations, event planning, and internal communications; and at Inco Limited where he was involved
in numerous international communications initiatives.
Prior to co-founding AgencyLink in 2008, Stan was General Manager of architectsAlliance, arguably Canada's most creative
architecture and urban planning firm. He guided the firm's strategic direction, human resources, legal, administrative,
financial, marketing and operations resources.
He holds a BA in Journalism from Ryerson, and worked as a newspaper reporter/editor early in his career. Stan is an
active member in the Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association, and is a frequent speaker at communications
and marketing conferences. |
